About The Machine Ethics Podcast

This podcast was created and is hosted by Ben Byford and collaborators. Initially, the podcast and other content were developed to expand Ben’s growing interest in AI and its associated ethics. Over the years, the podcast has become a platform for discussing and disseminating important ideas, not only about AI but also about technological ethics in general. As the interviews progress, they often touch on current events, the future of work, environmental issues, and more. While the core focus remains on AI and AI ethics, we publish broader content that we hope will be useful to the general public and practitioners alike.

The podcast aims to promote debate on technology and society and to encourage the development of technologies (especially decision-making algorithms) that uphold human ideals.
